Naked Omipod (Contract Only)

My mother-in-law inspired me to design the pod when she fell into the fire as she tried to get out of my son’s beanbag that she had happily sat in all evening watching the telly. She had enjoyed the fantastic comfort that a beanbag offers but had experienced first hand how impractical they can be.
After much experimentation with various designs, using my daughter’s Barbies as “test dummies”, I eventually came up with a shape that; a - worked in synergy with the beanbag; and b - created a piece of furniture that had a very unique and individual look.
When I first showed the pods in the UK the reaction from the public was fantastic, and people were soon buying them for their lounges, TV rooms, bedrooms, conservatories and children’s bedrooms and playrooms. They were also being specified by designers to be used in bars, reception areas, leisure facilities, office chill out rooms and children’s nurseries. In addition the pods created a very unique market with new mothers as the pods were purchased as feeding chairs.
However through all the success I can always remember the advice a gentleman from Wisconsin gave me when he told me to take my pods to the US! To do this I realised we needed to make the pods in the US. So that is what we are now doing and by changing our manufacturing process it has allowed us to offer our pods in their naked form.
