Why do the pods have a plastic frame?
Molding the frames from plastic means that they are incredibly strong and because we can create a really clean finish we can offer the pods either upholstered or naked. The naked option can have graphics applied to it and it can be used outdoors.
What is the filling in the beanbags?
We use reground beans as we like to do our bit for the environment and in consumer research we were told that there was no difference in the comfort experienced. Whilst virgin beads do look a lot nicer we think the environment wins out over looks!
Why do you supply the beanbags “overfilled”?
The unique design allows each individual to tailor their pod to best comfort their individual body shape. We encourage our customers to remove just the right amount of beads to create the ultimate sitting experience and store the beads that they have removed so that they can replenish the beanbag over time.
Why do you have an internal bag for the beans and then a separate cover?
For a number of reasons – to allow the outer beanbag cover to be laundered; so that the beads can easily be removed from the beanbag to tailor it to the shape and size of each individual customer; and if there was a leak the beads would be contained in the outer cover.
How do I wash the outer cover?
Our MicroVelvet fabric can be dry-cleaned. The WeatherMax fabric needs to be cleaned in-situ with soapy water. Other fabrics may have different care instructions but where possible we like to offer fabrics that can be easily laundered.
How do I care for the leather on my pod?
With all leathers the best way to care for it is to wash off dirt with a damp cloth and then periodically treat the leather with a specialist furniture leather care product. The semi-aniline hides will age over time, i.e. they will become more worn looking which is a desirable feature of this type of leather.
What is a naked pod?
This is simply a pod that is not upholstered and can be used outdoors or have graphics applied to it. The naked pods will be every bit as comfortable as upholstered pods.
Can I leave the beanbag outside all the time?
We recommend that you store the beanbag under cover when not in use.
Can my pod be upholstered in my own choice of fabrics?

Can I buy extra beanbag covers so that I can easily and quickly change the look of my pod?
