Our Basics
The pod can be manufactured from a huge variety of leathers, fabrics and polyethylenes. Here are the options for the pods we offer in our store.
Leather
We offer 2 different types of leather, a semi-aniline hide that will age over time, and a corrected grain leather that is stain resistant and is easier to clean than the semi-aniline leather.
Fabric
There are 2 choices of fabric. The first is what I refer to as a MicroVelvet that takes the best features of velvet and micro-suede and combines them. It is soft, luxurious and can be dry-cleaned. The second option is WeatherMax a fabric that can withstand the rigours of family life indoors and is fade resistant and waterproof so that it can be used outdoors. (Please note we do not recommend leaving beanbags outdoors when not in use.)
Polyethylenes
The manufacturing method we use allows these speciality polyethylene to be incorporated in the production of the pod cradle. The possibilities are limitless but here is our standard offering. Naked plastic pods can be used outdoors but we recommend that the cushioning is not left outside 24-7.
